MPH Entertainment, Inc. was launched in January of 1996 by industry veterans Jim Milio, Melissa Jo Peltier and Mark Hufnail.  Best known for their ability to identify breakout talent and stories that connect with audiences, the company has developed and produced over 250 hours of primetime television specials and series, and two independent feature films.

MPH co-executive produced the highest grossing independent feature film in movie history—My Big Fat Greek Wedding—having first acquired the film's script and signed its star and writer. That success was followed by the company’s launch of Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan, which has consistently been one of National Geographic Channel’s top rated shows for eight seasons. The Dog Whisperer brand has led the industry in adoption of 360 degree content, extending the brand to multiple media platforms. MPH is in the process of launching several new relationship focused entertainment brands that will build upon the successful model MPH developed for Dog Whisperer with Cesar Millan.

The multi-award-winning company produced the two highest-rated nonfiction programs for The Sci-Fi Channel, the highest-rated miniseries for The History Channel, and has consistently produced some of the highest-rated programs for their long list of clients that include the National Geographic Channel, A&E, Court TV and the Discovery family of networks (Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, Discovery Health Network). To advance the filming of a documentary special deep in the Sahara Desert, The Lost Dinosaurs of Egypt, MPH funded a scientific expedition which led to the internationally-acclaimed discovery of a new species of immense dinosaur,Paralititan
